Introduction
BigD's and Q's Guide to Extracting very pure Morphine from Poppy Seed/Pod Tea
This guide will allow you to create a pretty damn pure Calcium Morphenate (Calcium SALT form of morphine) that can be further purified into Morphine HCl (see: Tek 3). The material can then be injected (though, in the calcium salt form, you will still need Citric/Absorbic acid to get it dissolve).
You can also use this in conjunction with NZ's Homebake Heroin Guide (linked at the end of the guide). This guide takes quite a few steps to produce the purest possible material for injecting, since you always want a pure material when you are shooting anything into your veins.
If you want to make a pretty pure material that is relatively safe to inject, then you should start at TEK part #1.
Required Materials:
Seeds/Pods
Slaked lime (available at Walmart; used for pickling/canning)
Pure Ammonium Solution (sometimes referred to as Ammonium Hydroxide) - unscented, non-sudsy and non-dyed; available at Walmart, home improvement stores, a lot of grocery stores, etc
Instant Read PH Meter (these are cheap. PH test strips will also work, but only if you practice learning how to properly read them beforehand. The PH must be exact.
Stirrer (Glass works best. If you dont have glass then use a cheap chopstick)
Turkey Baster OR a glass gravy fat seperator (We prefer the gravy seperator)(

Coffee Filters
Eyedropper
Cheese cloth or an old Tshirt (for filtering the seeds well)
Double Boiler or a large pot
Activated Charcoal
Hydrochloric Acid (Found in most home improvement stores in the drain cleaner section)
Paraffin wax or Coconut oil (you have to defat the seeds first if you want to inject this. If you don't plan to inject this part will not be required.)
~TEK Part #1: De-fat the PST~
You are going to have to defat the poppy seed/pod tea. The less fat and matter in the extraction steps, the less contamination will occur, so the purity of the morphine extracted will be higher.
Make Poppy Seed Tea (PST) or Poppy Pod Tea (PPT) as normal but use 1/3rd more water and dont add in anything else. Before removing the seeds, let the tea stand for 1 hour, shake for 10 mins, let it stand for 1 more hour, then shake for 10 minutes and strain into a double boiler (or a large pot, but this will take longer).
2(a). If you used a double boiler, fill bottom part way with water, then put the top part on with the poppy tea inside. Turn stove on high.
2(b). If you used a pot instead of a double boiler, turn your stove on medium.
Once the tea has reduced by 1/4th, add in 100g of paraffin wax for every 1 liter of water, or 1 cup of coconut oil per 1 liter.
Continue to reduce till you get down to 1/2 the original liquid volume.
Cool down the PST in a refrigerator until the wax/oil has hardened.
Strain the PST through cheese cloth or an old tshirt.
~TEK Part #2: Prepare the Calcium Morphenate~
This is where it starts getting fun and we use plenty of science to extract the morphine.
Move the de-fatted PST/PPT liquid into either a glass gravy fat separator, a large enough glass liquid measuring cup, or a glass low or tall form beaker (if you have the lab glassware).
Once the de-fatted PPT/PST is in the container, get out your slaked lime. Using a spoon (any kind will do) gently sprinkle a bit into the de-fatted PPT/PST. After you add in tiny amount (half a tablespoon roughly) get your glass stirrer, or wooden chopstick and stir the mixture while taking note of the color.
You will know you have added enough slaked lime when the color is the same as Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur. If it isn't after you added the first amount of slaked lime, then you need to keep sprinkling a tiny bit and stirring well until the color is where you want it to be. If you add in too much then it could get thick, be hard to manage, and/or it will be harder to extract out the morphine.
Once the color is the creamy brown of Bailey's Irish Cream Liqueur, then move it to the refrigerator to sit for 4 hours without being disturbed at all. If you disturb it, then the layers aren't going to want to separate fully.
Once you have let it rest in the refrigerator for 4 hours, carefully remove it, and place it on a counter top with good lighting.
Take note of the container. You will notice 3 layers have formed. 2 of the layers (the bottom 2) are worthless. Those layers contain all of the stuff you don't want. The top layer should be an almost translucent, milk color with a yellowish tint -- this layer contains all of the morphine (with a very very very small amount of codeine contamination. But nothing to worry about).
If you used a Glass gravy fat separator, you can use it to slowly pour out all of the 2 junk layers (since it pours from the bottom). If you used either the measuring cup or the beaker, you are going to need to use a turkey baster or a large (20-50ml) syringe to carefully suck up as much of the good top layer as possible, without getting any of the other 2 layers in it.
Once you have collected and separated all of the morphine-containing, translucent, yellowish tinted, milky colored top layer, you will need to add it back into the glass container you used for the layer separation. Make sure you rinse the container of all contamination from the layer separation.
Once you have moved it back to the glass container, get out your ammonia and eyedropper. First you should take note of your PH. You are going to be aiming for a PH of 9.1. If you note it now, then you will be able to gauge how many drops of ammonia you will have to use to get as close to 9.1 as possible.
Drop in 2 drops of ammonia and stir very well with a clean glass stirrer or wooden chop stick.
Check the PH again. By only adding 2 drops at a time, you can calculate how many additional drops you will need based on the incremental change introduced by the 2 drops.
Keep dropping the ammonia in 2 drops at a time until you get roughly .3-.5 away from 9.1. Make sure you stir well after every time you add in the ammonia, then check the PH after each time. Once you get this close, you are going to start seeing flakes forming and falling to the bottom of the container - this is your calcium morphenate.
Switch to adding in 1 drop at a time, stirring well, and checking the PH after each time.
Once you hit a PH of 9.1, STOP. Do not add any more ammonia!
You have a choice. You can let the container sit on your counter for an hour, or you could take it to the refrigerator for an hour. I theorize that the cold will help the calcium morphenate become less water soluble and thus it will cause more calcium morphenate to be collected. But that may not be true.
Once you've let it rest for 1 hour, prepare your coffee filters by first soaking them with water. You will require 2-4 filters. Afterwards, slowly pour the solution through the filter, making sure to collect the filtered liquid in another non-metal container.
Once all of the liquid is out, make sure no flakes of Calcium Morphenate are left behind. Take a new filter and run the liquid through a second time to see if anything collects on the filter (you really shouldn't notice anything that is filtered off, but its good to still try, in case).
Take your filters and place them flat on dinner plate to dry for 20-30 minutes.
Once the filters have dried for 15-20 minutes, and while they are still damp (but not too wet), scrape off the white calcium morphenate deposits.
You can then place the calcium morphenate on a dinner plate and put it in the oven with the door cracked open for 10 mins at the lowest setting (usually around 155f). This will help it dry completely.
To purify the product as much as possible, proceed to TEK part 3 below
~TEK Part #3: Convert to Morphine Hydrochloride~
This is the purification step to get an EXTRA pure material, Morphine HCl. This will be as pure as we can make it at home.
Cover your Calcium Morphenate powder with 10% (or higher) Hydrochloric Acid and let it stand for 20 minutes, stirring every 5 minutes. There should be about 3mm Of HCl above the Calcium Morphenate.
This liquid is then passed through activated charcoal on top of a wet coffee filter. The liquid that comes through is left to dry.
The oven method again will be used to dry it out fully. When dry, this should be a white odourless crystalline powder, otherwise known as Morphine Hydrochloride.
Conclusion
